Blue light.

Back to where my first love for, painting on canvases.
We had several sizes of lamps in the house. What I love about them is that they keep they room bright and with nostalgic feel. This one is modern yet old school.

Attack on Titan cosplay on Jakarta Comic Con 2015: Colossal Titan bodypainting.

Colossal Titan attacking Michael.

It was a spontaneous idea on a night out with friends to cosplay my brother at the Jakarta Comic Con 2015 (25-27 September 2015) last weekend. I've never done any body painting before but I thought it would be fun to just dive right in and see how it goes. Excited as I was, quickly bought some Snazaroo paints the night before test them out on myself. We woke up a bit late on the day about 10:30am, not knowing how long this body painting would take, then we got to work...

Painting the muscles took most of my time. It was so different from the usual oil painting because you just have to keep going, whereas oil painting allows you to leave it for a few days or hours to continue with a more detailed layer each time. The similar thing is that layers were very important to keep a lasting paint.

We were already pressed for time going on the final details so things had to be quicker but I finally managed to produce a Colossal Titan body painting. Glad knowing some human anatomy served its purpose. Never expected that it would be such a hit on the event. All I know that it was just soooo much fun since its the first time and I love the Anime!

...and we're ready to attack Comic Con.
